Titan partners with Blessing Health System to expand employee healthcare resources

Free access to additional clinics, services and facilities are available immediately

QUINCY, Illinois— Titan International, Inc. (Titan) is pleased to announce its partnership — effective February 15, 2019 — with Blessing Health System. The partnership gives full-time Titan employees free access to Blessing Health System’s Be Well at Work employer clinics — two in Quincy and one in Hannibal — as well as the Blessing Wellness Center in Quincy with exercise facilities. With additional locations and services, the partnership significantly expands upon the already popular wellness resources provided to Titan employees.

“For the last four years, access to our Titan Family Wellness Center in Quincy has been a very popular and convenient resource for our employees — reaching nearly 70 percent employee utilization in 2018,” said Steve Hathaway, General Manager, Titan N.A. Wheel Operations. “As part of our continued vision for being a premier Quincy employer, we wanted to take our popular program and expand it, giving our employees more convenient access to more services at more locations. We’re incredibly thankful for this partnership with Blessing Health System and the opportunities it will provide for our valued employees and their families,” added Paul Reitz, President and Chief Executive Officer at Titan.

“We are pleased Titan chose to join the Blessing Be Well at Work family of employers,” said Maureen Kahn, RN, MHA, MSN, President, Chief Executive Officer, Blessing Health System and Blessing Hospital. “Titan plays a major role in the region’s economic health and needs a healthy workforce to do that.”

In addition to adding access to care in Hannibal — where many Titan employees live and commute from — other new enhancements include access to care during extended hours and days, and more options for afterhours care.

“Be Well at Work works because it is a collaboration between employers and the people to whom they provide health coverage,” Kahn continued. “This partnership delivers an improved state of health and well-being for the long term in a very effective manner, both in outcomes and cost.”

“Be Well at Work is part of Blessing’s response to the voice of the employers of our community,” said Patrick Gerveler, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Blessing Health System. “Employers told us that their healthcare costs were unmanageable. Be Well at Work gives them back some control of those expenses by helping their employees and covered dependents better navigate the complex world of healthcare services and get the care they need when they need it in cost effective ways.”

The partnership is expected to have a positive impact on the Titan employees and their families and is expecting to see additional increased utilization of these new services in the near future.
