Antique Tractor Restoration Program 2018

Tire program continues support for student tractor restorations

DES MOINES, IOWA — Titan International (Titan) is pleased to announce that applications for the annual antique tractor restoration program are now open. Students that are members of 4-H or the National FFA Organization can register to qualify for a set of Titan or Goodyear® Farm Tire branded antique tractor tires. Since 1996, Titan has awarded thousands of free tires to student-led tractor restorations projects.

“Restoration projects celebrate farming’s history and, in many cases, are a way for students to showcase their family legacy,” says Scott Sloan, agricultural product manager for Titan and Goodyear Farm Tires. “We want to reward the hard work and time they put into these projects and are proud to support their commitment with our antique tractor restoration program.”

Applications for interested FFA and 4-H members and new guidelines for the 2018 program can be found online at www.titan-intl.com/antique-tractor-restoration.

The antique tractor restoration program is just one of the ways Titan supports the future of the agriculture industry. Another is tire auctions benefiting FFA chapters held at a variety of farm shows each year, with the first auctions taking place in 1996 at the Farm Progress Show and Sunbelt Ag Expo. Both auctions continue to this day. In 2017, over $90,000 was raised for regional FFA chapters through Titan’s special event tire auctions.
