Optimizing Radial Performance

Optimizing Radial Performance/Minimizing Soil Compaction

Soil compaction is a farming concern that impacts both yield and erosion; proper tire inflation pressure is one way you can help increase your productivity. The easiest way to estimate the pressure exerted on your ground is to identify the proper amount of inflation pressure needed by your tires to carry the load and add two PSI to that inflation value. Our Optimizing Radial Performance/Minimizing Sole Compaction chart shows compaction pressure rating based on appropriate tire air pressure for the rated load. As always, the key to knowing your proper inflation pressure is to know how much load you are asking your tires to carry. See your authorized Titan/Goodyear farm tire dealer for more information with this and other insights on improving your farm's output.
