TITAN TIRE AUCTION RAISES $50,000 FOR FFA

QUINCY, Ill.—Titan Tire Corporation raised $50,000 at its annual Future Farmers of America (FFA) fundraiser auction held at the 2007 Farm Progress show in Decatur, Illinois, last week. Total proceeds will be divided between the Illinois and Indiana FFA chapters.   

“As a former FFA member and local officer, I applaud the organization’s efforts to continue the pursuit of agricultural education and development,” said Jeff Vasichek, vice president of sales and marketing. “The auction is our way of showing our support for the FFA. Titan is honored to be associated with such an organization.”   

Titan donated a wide range of agricultural, construction and ATV tires to the event, in addition to seed corn, crop chemicals and other items.   

Titan Tire Corporation, headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa, is a subsidiary of Titan International, Inc. (NYSE: TWI). Its subsidiaries supply wheels, tires and assemblies for off-highway equipment used in agricultural, earthmoving/construction and consumer (including all terrain vehicles) applications.
